Mr. Foggo, nicknamed Dusty, was known inside the agency as a cigar-waving, bourbon-drinking operator, someone who could get a cargo plane flying anywhere in the world or quickly obtain weapons, food, money — whatever the C.I.A. needed.
I’d like to know which cigar and bourbon he favored, a link to the story of how he earned the nickname “Dusty,” and, of course, a redirect to the eHow article “How to Quickly Obtain Weapons, Food, Money.” Actually, I don’t want to know any of those —except maybe the latter.
By the way, I’m not calling out the Times on this. I often find it odd which phrases in my Wired stories get links and which don’t when the magazine hits the Web.
